Barnala, September 20 (Press Correspondent):
The land of Dhuri’s Dhannola in District Barnala was filled with the colors of humanity and brotherhood when the National President of Majlis Ahrar Islam Hind, Shahi Imam Punjab, Maulana Muhammad Usman Ludhianvi, during a grand interfaith conference, appointed Dr. Mithu Muhammad from Mehal Kalan as State Press Media Incharge Punjab and Dr. Muhammad Dilshad from Dhannola as District President Barnala, thus creating a new chapter in history.
In this interfaith conference, thousands of people from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian communities gathered together. The overflowing crowd on the soil of Dhannola was a living example of unity and humanity.
While addressing the gathering, Shahi Imam Maulana Muhammad Usman Ludhianvi said:
“Today’s man only worships by name, but the real devotion is when a person purifies himself, does not hurt anyone’s heart, and stands before God. If someone hurts the heart of his parents, neighbors, or brothers and sisters, then his prayer is never accepted.”
Referring to the recent floods in Punjab, he said that all communities came forward to serve, but the Muslim community was at the forefront in making contributions. Referring to an elderly woman from Rajasthan, he said that she sold her jewelry to send help for the flood victims. Similarly, small children broke their piggy banks to participate in the service.
