A special discussion was held about school management, cleanliness, mid-day meal and school grants

An important meeting of the heads of all government schools of district Bathinda was held at Teachers Home Bathinda under the chairmanship of District Education Officer Secondary Education Shivpal Goyal and Deputy District Education Officer Iqbal Singh Buttar.
In the meeting, children out of school, cleanliness of schools, cleanliness and quality of mid-day meal, winter sports, timely utilization of grants, attendance of children and duties in upcoming elections were discussed.
District Education Officer Shivpal Goyal said that children who have left school should be monitored and efforts should be made to ensure the re-admission of these children who have not been admitted elsewhere. He said that school grants should be used transparently and properly so that school management can run smoothly.
Deputy District Education Officer Iqbal Singh Buttar said that the government’s cleanliness service campaign should be implemented. Activities should be designed by involving the students in this campaign. He said that students should be encouraged to participate in winter sports so that along with studies, they can also be connected with sports activities.
