Under the direction of School Education Department Punjab Sports and District Education Officer Secondary Education Shiv Pal Goyal and Deputy District Education Officer Secondary Education Iqbal Singh Buttar, the sportsmen showed their sports strongly on the second day in the 67 Viya Warm Season District School Games.
Today Deputy District Education Officer Secondary Education Iqbal Singh Buttar specially participated in these sports competitions and speaking on this occasion he said that through sports a person develops the spirit of winning and enduring defeat. Games create a sense of mutual love and cooperation among children.
Giving information about the competitions held today, Jasveer Singh Gill, District Sports Coordinator said that in under 14 Judo 25 kg, Gurwinder Singh Bhucho Mandi won first, Deepak Bhucho Mandi won second, in 30 kg Gagandeep Singh Bathinda won first, Kamlesh Kumar Bathinda won second. Dinesh Bathinda 1st in 35kg, Jatin Sangat 2nd, Arshdeep Bathinda 2nd in 40kg, Vicky Bhucho Mandi 2nd, Laksai Bathinda 1st in 45kg, Maskeen Bathinda 1st 2nd, Ayush Bathinda 1st in 50kg 1st, Rajwinder Singh Goniana 2nd, Ramanjot Kaur Bhucho Mandi in Girls Under 14 Judo 27kg, Amrit Goniana 2nd, Sahjamin Bhucho 32kg, Mandeep Kaur Bhucho Mandi 2nd, Khushpreet Kaur Bhucho Mandi 36kg , Seema Bathinda 2nd, Jasmin Gonyana first in 40kg, Tanveer Gonyana second, Lovepreet Bathinda first in 44kg, Neha Gonyana second, Badminton under 17 girls Bhucho beat Bhagat in semifinals, Bathinda 1 beat Mandi Maur .
