Deputy District Education Officer Iqbal Singh Buttar specially participated in these sports competitions and blessed the players.
Giving information about today’s competitions, District Sports Coordinator Jasvir Singh Gill said that in the U-19 hockey girls’ league competitions, Punjab Sports Institute Bathinda beat Amritsar Sahib 3-0, Ludhiana beat Mansa 5-0, Punjab Sports Institute Muktsar Sangrur 4-0, Patiala beat Gurdaspur 2-1, Amritsar beat Mansa 6-0, Patiala beat Faridkot 4-0, Punjab Sports Institute Muktsar beat Gurdaspur 4-0, Punjab Sports Institute Bathinda defeated Ludhiana 6-0. The match between Ferozepur and Barnala was tied 1-1. In the quarter-final matches, Bathinda defeated Patiala 8-0, Punjab Sports Institute Muktsar defeated Barnala 4-0, Jalandhar defeated Sri Amritsar Sahib 3-0.
